The Jobboom team prepares to have some James Bond-type fun with attendees at Casino Royale 007.

This year's annual conference and trade show of the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario (HRPAO) proved the be the perfect venue to unveil two ground-breaking human resources websites, including HR eSource and Payscale Inc.

Along with these two exciting initiatives, the event also proved to be the place for newer companies to solidify a position in the Canadian Internet recruitment market, and this is exactly what Jobboom set out to do with its opening night Casino Royale 007.

Sparing no expense, the online recruitment company wowed the HR professionals with a casino-themed elegant setting, live entertainment and extravagant rewards that resulted in an evening that easily compared to the Royale 007 scene in the latest James Bond movie, Casino Royale. INTEGRATES PRINT, ONLINE

Jobboom strategically chose last week's HRPAO event as the time to share the company's agenda to provide Canadians with a redeveloped recruitment platform that integrates print and online properties to address all aspects of the Canadian labour force.

As a subsidiary of Quebecor Media Inc, Jobboom has joined forces with online partner CANOE -- one of Canada's top online content providers -- along with several partner Sun Media newspapers to reach out to thousands of readers that still prefer traditional recruitment methods. The unique part of Jobboom's approach is that it doesn't force the public to choose which medium to use; instead, Jobboom prefers to keep the control in the hands of the public at large.

To this end, Jobboom has created White Label websites specifically for its partner Sun Media newspapers, allowing employers to reach job seekers simultaneously on the Internet and in print.

This unique partnership with the Sun Media newspapers and CANOE is a direct result of listening to what Canadians have to say about the recruitment market, and respecting the public's wishes to be an active part in today's developing technological arena.

Through this interactive teamwork with Canada's diverse labour market, Jobboom will set trends in Canadian recruitment, allowing Canadians to select their desired audience, be it a national audience through the fully bilingual Jobboom.com website, or for the more selective audience, a highly targeted White Label site. For those loyal to the print market, Jobboom offers highly trained sales representatives who have been trained to sell online and print space to their customers.
